Whoopi Goldberg is setting the record straight about the rumors that have been circulating about her for the past year.
During a recent episode of The viewThe 68-year-old brought up a long list of accusations against her, starting with the claim that she visited Jeffrey Epstein’s island.
“Let me mention that, conspiracy theory folks,” he said. “I have to explain it because there was a fake list and I’m on it… They said I was on the island and I said, ‘I’m not going anywhere.'”
Several batches of court documents from a case involving Epstein were released last week, and they have featured high-profile individuals. A “fake list” began circulating showing the names of dozens of celebrities who supposedly went to his private island. on the Internet shortly after.

While talking about the topic, Whoopi Goldberg shared that “a lot of things have been popping up recently” on the Internet that aren’t true.
“I don’t know what I’ve done to anyone,” he continued, “but apparently there are a lot of these types of sites that are satirical sites. But people don’t realize that they can be harmful.”
The host went on to say that she was never kicked out of Guy Fieri or Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants or Bill Maher’s show. She also didn’t have a backstage fight with Oprah Winfrey. These are some of the many rumors currently circulating about her.
Whoopi Goldberg told the audience that she is angry about the spate of satire sites because too many people don’t know that the content is made up. She said false information could ruin celebrities’ reputations or put them in danger. Then moderators risk lawsuits.
“[It’s] “It’s important for people to recognize what satire is,” he continued before adding that such websites should post large warnings “in big, bold letters: ‘This is satire.'”
Goldberg then reiterated that the rumors about her are false. “You’ll know if I’m doing something, I’ll let you know! I have nothing to hide,” she promised. “I don’t care what people think. If I like doing it, I’ll let you know.”
“But if they told you Oprah was backstage and you didn’t see her on the show? He is so crazy! And you know I’m not going anywhere! Unless I tell you I went somewhere. Well? We’re ok?”
