Vishal Kudavala, better known as Vishnu Vishal, is an Indian actor and filmmaker who predominantly works in Tamil films. He came into limelight after playing the role of ‘Arun Kumar’ in the psychological thriller film “Ratsasan” (2018).

He studied at Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Tiruchirappalli. He was good at sports during his school days and wanted to become a cricketer. After completing his schooling, Vishnu enrolled in an engineering course, but soon left it due to his inclination towards cricket. Later, he did MBA in Marketing and Brand Management from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

Relationships, wife and children
Vishnu Vishal met Rajni Nataraj (daughter of actor K Nataraj) during his college days. Rajni was two years junior to him. The two fell in love with each other and got married on 2 December 2010 after dating for almost four years. The couple have a son, Aryan, born on 31 January 2017. They separated in 2017 and divorced in November 2018.

Vishnu Vishal started his career as a cricketer by playing in TNCA league games. He also played with the India under-19 cricket team.

However, he suffered a leg injury which ended his cricket career. After the injury, Vishnu remained bedridden for a few months. During that time he watched films and developed an interest in acting.

Vishnu Vishal made his acting debut in the 2009 Tamil film “Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu”, in which he played the role of ‘Marimuthu’.

Vishnu Vishal established his production venture “VV Studios” in 2015. He made his debut as a producer in 2018 with the Tamil film “Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaran”. Subsequently, he produced the films ‘Katha Nayakan’ (2017), ‘Silukkuvarupatti Singam’ (2018), and ‘FIR’ (2021).
