Career
From January 1995 to June 1998, Vijender Singh Chauhan worked as a researcher at the Central Institute of Education (CIE). In December 1999, he began working as a lecturer at a government college in Delhi and served there until October 2005.
In 2002, Vijendra Singh Chauhan cleared the NET-JRF exam. Then, in October 2015, he started working at Zakir Husain College in Delhi as a Hindi assistant professor. He was elevated to the position of associate professor in August 2018. Later, Vijendra Singh Chauhan joined the famous Drishti IAS coaching centre in Delhi where he helps the UPSC aspirants in practicing interviews.

Trolled For Anti-Hindu Comment
Vijender Singh Chauhan was trolled on Twitter in 2022 for posting an anti-Hindu comment on one of his social media accounts.
Vijendra Singh Chauhan has received a special research fellowship from Sarai-CDs (ICSSR). He has organised many educational seminars and given presentations at famous colleges in India. Some of these presentations include ‘multiplex cinema mein stri ki celluloid nirmiti’ at Government College, Kullu, ‘FUBL-GILT Conference’ in the Department of Electronics at C-DAC, Pune, and Vaishvik Chetana aur Hindi sahitya’ at Lucknow University.
Literary Works
In addition to being a lecturer, Vijendra Singh Chauhan is also a writer. He has written many articles and journals in Hindi such as Vakt Galat Nahi Hota (2016), Pahad Bhi Dharti Ke Ped Hain (2016), and Ganit Seekhna or Seekhana (2023). He is the writer of two Hindi books named ‘Kyuki Bhasha Bhi Ek Fractal Hai’ and ‘Media v stri : ek uttar vimarsh.’
