In September 2022, Vasan faced charges of reckless driving and endangering others after he shared a video of himself and fellow influencer GP Muthu driving at dangerous speeds in Palakkad, Kerala. In December 2022, Vasan was booked along with 300 others for obstructing traffic in Cuddalore when he was going to inaugurate the office of director Chellam Senthil. More than 300 youths on motorcycles joined him on his route, slowing down traffic at several places in the city.

In July 2023, Vasan courted controversy when a car in which he was traveling collided with a two-wheeler on Nelson Manickam Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Reportedly, the driver of the two-wheeler was injured, while Vasan, Chellam Senthil (director of Vasan’s debut film Manjal Veeran), and a friend accompanying him in the car remained safe. Soon after the accident, Vasan allegedly booked an auto and left the site. According to reports, Senthil was allegedly driving the car at excessive speed when it lost control and crashed into a pillar near a gas station after hitting a motorcyclist. The footage of Vasan’s heated argument with a person who was filming the incident went viral on social media.
