Education and early age
Trevor James was born in the year 1988, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His age could be 34 or 35 years old. However, there is no information about his parents and other relatives of his. He has Canadian nationality and is of white ethnic origin. He moved to Calgary, Alberta, when he was thirteen years old.

She met Ting Ting, his future fiancée, while traveling to Istanbul, Turkey in 2015. Ting Ting is currently a member of the production team for Food Ranger.
James left his master’s program in August 2016 and enrolled in the Sichuan College of Tourism Cooking College, which he then left after one term. He later made the decision to dedicate himself entirely to YouTube. To help with filming and editing, Ting Ting also left her position as an English teacher’s assistant. As a CouchSurfer in 2016, James provided free accommodation for tourists.
The Food Ranger surpassed 1 million subscribers in October 2017. James’ films from his Street Food Tour in Mumbai and Old Delhi, India, as well as those in Pakistan, Xi’an and Beijing, are some of his favourites. James is a straight gender person. As for his marriage relationship, he is a married man. He married Ting Ting. The couple first met while on vacation in Turkey in 2015.
