Like her first marriage, Melissa opted to have a private ceremony. The couple got married on private property in Ojai, California. A source spoke to MY! News about the wedding;

“It was a beautiful setting for a very peaceful and calm wedding. The vows were brief and lasted about 15 minutes. There was much cheering and applause when it was over.”

The reception took place in the same place. The source talking to MY! Newscalled the atmosphere elegant;

“There were many candles burning and lights strung above. The food was served family style with everyone passing their plates back and forth. It looked like a fancy outdoor dining room. There was lots of laughter and joy.”

“I was very involved in helping him find who we wanted to target: young people, but really anyone, and getting people to talk about how they feel about each other.”
