Almost everything Travis Kelce does lately goes viral, and his beef with Justin Tucker is no exception. Kelce called out the Baltimore Ravens kicker after an altercation in their game.
Kelce ended up moving Tucker’s helmet and football during pregame warmups. Online users accused Kelce of being a bully. However, Kelce turned to his podcast. new heights to explain his version of things.
Kelce explains that there is an “unwritten rule” that says “you don’t interfere with what they’re going through.” Kelce explained that Tucker put his helmet in the path of his quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kelce was rectifying the mistake.
He said, “If you want to be an idiot about it, keep your helmet, your football and your fucking tee right where the quarterbacks are warming up. …Don’t paint me as the bad guy. He was pushing the bear.”

He continued, “If you’re not going to pick it up, I’ll be happy to move it for you.” Kelce ended up grabbing Tucker’s helmet and tossing it aside. After the incident went viral, Kelce admitted that she seemed rude.
Travis Kelce shares his point of view
The NFL player apologized for his actions. “I get it,” Kelce said. “He was kind of winking at me and being a [jerk] about it, trying to get under the skin.” But he and Mahomes were focused on the game ahead, and not “in the mood to joke around.”
However, he also defends his actions, saying, “If you’re going to be ad… I promise, I can outdo you every time.” However, Kelce praised Tucker for his abilities, so he doesn’t hold a grudge.
Kelce is dealing with increased exposure thanks to his relationship with Swift. The NFL player admitted that being in the spotlight has its drawbacks. He had to try to refocus on football and try not to get distracted.
He said (via the New York Post): “I had to back off because everyone in this building knows my intentions, man, football is my main focus right now. There are a lot of people who count on me in this building, in this city, in this organization, so this is my number one focus right now to be able to do that, and on top of that, it is in my heart to be able to provide everything that I have in the field”.
So far, he seems to have figured it out as the Kansas City Chiefs head to the Super Bowl.
