Travis Kelce is one of the best athletes in the world. He has won two Super Bowls and has a good chance of becoming the greatest tight end of all time. Kelce added another trophy to his case when he was named Athlete of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards. But for all the accolades he has accumulated throughout his career, Kelce said this one didn’t deserve it.
“Damn nonsense,” Kelce said in response to winning the award. “What did I do to be Athlete of the Year? I did ‘SNL’ (Saturday Night Live).”
Kelce seems to be hinting that off-field factors could have contributed to him winning the award. Probably her relationship with her new love Taylor Swift. It has led to a significant increase in the popularity of it and, more importantly, the marketability of it.

Kelce is right. Although she technically won a Super Bowl in 2023, she had a pretty bad year as far as numbers are concerned. This was the first time since 2016 that he had fewer than 1,000 receiving yards. On top of that, there were a group of athletes who achieved monumental achievements in 2023.

The Kelce brothers throw shade at Jonathan Owens
Jason and Travis Kelce also took time to criticize Simone Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, who plays for the Green Bay Packers.
Last year, Owens came under fire for comments he made about the Olympic gold medalist during an interview.
“Actually, how did it attract me? That is the question. “I’ve always thought the man is the prize,” Owens said.
The Kelce brothers confronted Owens on the latest episode of their “New Heights” podcast.
“How is Simone Biles in this if not her boyfriend? [sic] It is not like this? Jason asked about Jonathan.
“Owens? I guess I played some good ball there,” Travis responded sarcastically.
