The look and feel perfectly recreates the crossover from the comics, with Downey’s golden armor combined with elements of the classic Black Ranger suit. The helmet looks perfectly molded to fit the glans, including not only the mastodons image but also the glowing red eyes in IDW/BOOM! pass. Finally, the Black Turtle Ranger now uses a Power Ax instead of Donatello’s classic stick.
Accompanying Swagwing Duck is Ninjeti Crane Ranger (@ninjettiip) in her classic Pink Ranger cosplay. This ultra-precise outfit could have belonged to April, her own Ranger outfit that isn’t all that different from what the other Pink Rangers wear, except for the skirt. Both Black and Pink Ranger weapons and costumes are on-site and on display at the most recent Katsucon held annually in National Harbor, Maryland, next to Washington, DC.
