A little over six months after Tish Cyrus got married Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, there are now reports that the couple didn’t have the most conventional start.
During a recent appearance at calls his daddy On the podcast, Tish revealed the origin story of her relationship with Purcell. She revealed that she had a long-standing crush on the actor and even gave him a “hall pass” during her 28-year marriage to her ex-husband Billy Ray.
Tish Cyrus also stated that David Purcell had sent her a DM on Instagram in 2016. However, she missed it at the time. She ended up messaging him in 2022, right after filing for divorce from Billy Ray.
“So we go to lunch and we kiss for three hours,” Tish said of her and Purcell’s first date. She also said that they said they loved each other a day later.
However, sources close to the couple told Us Magazine that before Tish and Dominic’s relationship began, Tish’s daughter, Noah, was romantically linked to the actor first. “Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started chasing him,” a source explained. They also noted that Tish was aware of the situation.
Us also reported that Noah was noticeably absent from Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell’s wedding in August 2023. Fans notably speculated that the reason behind Noah’s decision to attend the wedding was because she took sides of Billy Ray in the divorce.
But according to the source, it was because she had not been invited to the event. The source also stated that Miley had armed guards outside her house that day to prevent Noah from attending.

Meanwhile, the source told us that things between Tish and Noah Cyrus have been more intense because of Dominic Purcell.

Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus share five children. They are Brandy, Trace, Miley, Braison and Noah.
