Tiantian Kullander A Founder Of Crypto Passed Away At The Age Of 30

Tiantian Kullander, co-founder of cryptocurrency company Amber Group, has died suddenly at the age of 30. His company announced the news in an official statement on its website, adding, that he died in his sleep on Wednesday, November 23.

“Tiantian (or ‘TT’ as it’s affectionately called) was crucial to Amber’s founding and is fundamental to our success. He has invested his heart and energy in the company at all levels of its growth. With his knowledge, charity, humility, dedication and creativity, he set a shining example.”

Tiantian Kullander co-founded Amber Group in 2017 along with two CFOs of Goldman Sachs Group and Morgan Stanley. Before that, he worked as a trader in the mentioned companies.

Tiantian Kullander was honored on the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 List for co-founding the Amber Group, which includes some of the most prominent leaders and rising entrepreneurs. It is also listed in Asian Finance and Venture Capital. In early November, the crypto institution was valued at $3 billion following a $200 million fundraising round.

Amber Group is also said to be in the process of funding around $100 million. In a lengthy statement, the company recognized him as “a person essential to Amber’s foundation and the foundation of our success.”

According to the statement, Tiantian Kullander, in addition to co-founding the Amber Group, also serves on the board of directors of e-sports organization Fnatic.

According to the New York Post, his death took many in the business by surprise, including Arthur Cheong, the co-founder of DeFiance Capital, who paid tribute to him on Twitter. Tiantian Kullander’s death comes just days after the death of bitcoin billionaire Nikolai Mushegian, leaving the financial world stunned. Mushegian drowned on a Puerto Rican beach on October 29. Before his death, he tweeted that the Mossad and CIA were hunting him and planning to kill him.
