The Sims 4 has received another robust expansion in the form of Cottage Living. Sim families can head out to the new area of Henford-on-Bagley to try out simpler life on the farm. While it might not be as glamorous as other Sims expansion settings, it does give players the chance to live off the land and raise livestock.
The latest expansion adds in clothing to dress up various Sims farm and pet animals. These can be obtained randomly as gifts from kind Sim neighbors, but that can take time and effort. A much faster means is heading into the magical forests within the neighborhood, and seeking out true craftsmanship. Additionally, those that own Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack will gain additional options to enhance this feature.
Buying Animal Clothes in The Sims 4
Those looking for new animal clothes will have the option of buying them for Sims in-game money, Simoleons. While on the Henford-on-Bagley map, players will need to scroll over to Bramblewood and find the secluded cottage. It may be a bit hard to find in the dense forest, so look for landmarks like stone bridges and dilapidated ruins.
Direct a Sim to head there during the day, have them knock on the front door since the actual cottage is not a building that can be entered, and they will be greeted by the Creature Keeper. After a small introduction, the particular Sim will be able to purchase different animal clothing, each new Sim may need to talk to the Creature Keeper before buying wares themselves. This includes various items for bunnies, chickens, cows, llamas, and foxes. The Creature Keeper’s stock changes each day, and they will temporarily close shop at night time. If players can’t find what they want, or at the desired price, they will need to come back tomorrow or the next day after.
Note that the Creature Keeper is a role and not a specific character. If the original character winds up dying, leaving the town, or joins in a family the job will be replaced by a new person shortly.
