‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Rep Responds to Toxic Work Environment Claims

On Friday morning (May 12), Rolling Stone published an article where former employees of the NBC daytime talk show, hosted by the 41-year-old entertainer, claimed that executive producer and showrunner Alex Duda had created such a negative work environment through harassment and verbal abuse that employees They had suffered physical illnesses and their mental health has suffered greatly.

A representative for NBCUniversal later issued a statement regarding the allegations.

“We are committed to a safe and respectful work environment and take workplace complaints very seriously and to imply otherwise is false,” the NBCUniversal representative shared in a statement with People.

“When issues are reported, they are reviewed, investigated and acted upon in a timely manner as appropriate,” the statement continued. “The Kelly Clarkson Show strives to build a safe, respectful and equitable workplace that fosters a culture of inclusion and creativity.”

So far, Kelly has not publicly addressed the allegations.
