Joey King speaks for the first time since Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison.

The 24-year-old actress played Gypsy in the Hulu limited series. The actwhich was launched in spring 2019.

Gypsy, a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, was released from prison on December 28 after serving eight years for her role in her mother’s murder.

Patricia Arquette, who played the mother in the series, already spoke about Gypsy’s release and now Joey also shares her opinion.

Paparazzi approached Joey while he was out hiking in Los Angeles on Monday (January 8) and asked him what he thought about Gypsy.

“I’m so happy they released her,” Joey said, according to Entertainment tonight. “I am very happy for her. “She deserves freedom.”
