The film’s official synopsis reads: “Based on a remarkable true story, ORDINARY ANGELS centers on Sharon (Swank), a fierce but feisty hairdresser in a small Kentucky town who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed (Ritchson ), a widower. working hard to make ends meet for her two daughters. With her youngest daughter awaiting a liver transplant, Sharon sets out to help the family and will move mountains to do so.
