Taylor Swift has confirmed that “Bitch!” is one of five jump tracks to be released in 1989 (Taylor version) and now his comments about slut-shaming have resurfaced.
The pop star previously opened up about being slut-shamed while speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in a 2019 interview. Taylor opened up about her experience with slut-shaming when she was 23, which was when she was writing the 1989 album.

“When I was like 23 and people were reducing me to… making slideshows of my love life and putting people there that I had once sat next to at a party and deciding that my composition was like a trick rather than a skill and a craft,” Taylor said.
She continued: “In a way, it’s about figuring out how to completely minimize that ability by taking on something that everyone in their darkest moments loves to do, which is just slut-shaming, you know? That happened to me when I was very young, so it was a little difficult. That was one of the first times I thought, ‘Wow, this isn’t fair.'”
Taylor added: “I don’t think people understand how easy it is to infer that someone who is an artist or a woman in our industry is somehow doing something wrong by wanting love, wanting money, wanting success. “Women are not allowed to desire those things in the same way that men are allowed to desire them.”
Taylor also talked about how things have changed since she was 23, especially with the #MeToo movement, which had just started at the time.
“I think when I was younger, it was hard because I didn’t understand why no one was saying this was wrong,” Taylor said. “We have made incredible progress. “We have made incredible progress and I can remember the lessons I learned when I was younger and I really don’t think I did anything wrong by having a normal love life in my early 20s.”
Taylor revealed the titles of all five jump tracks in a unique way!
