Tara Lipinski is a mom!
After years of struggling with infertility that included multiple painful miscarriages, the 41-year-old Olympic gold medal figure skater announced that she and her husband Todd Kapostasy had recently welcomed their first child together via a rent.

Tara and Todd, married since 2017, welcomed a baby girl named Georgie.
“I dreamed about this for a long time,” Tara said. Peoplebefore sharing that she is excited about everything motherhood with a newborn has to offer.
“A crying baby, sleepless nights,” Tara shared. “Even when I say, ‘Okay, take a nap for an hour,’ I’m almost too excited. I say, ‘She’s there.’ Look at her a little more.”
Tara announced earlier this month that she and Todd were expecting, and on an episode of her podcast, she opened up the meeting with her surrogate mother Mikayla.
“There was an immediate connection and bond between us, something I didn’t expect to feel so strongly. A two peas in a pod feeling… teammates on the deepest level,” Tara shared about Mikayla.
