The Met Gala is the most important night of the year in the fashion industry and we are going to review what the red carpet was like 10 years ago.
The 2013 event featured the Costume Institute’s “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibit. The exhibition showcased punk’s impact on haute couture from the movement’s birth in the early 1970s to its continuing influence, featuring approximately one hundred designs.
A few things have changed since that year, including some high-profile couples who have since broken up, like Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani, Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis, as well as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
Fashion on the Met Gala carpet has definitely gotten edgier in the years since 2013. We can’t wait to see what people will wear this year!
