• American ballet dancer Misty Copeland performs with the American Ballet Theater in New York. One of the best ballet companies in the world, ABT, was founded in 1939. In Hollywood movies, including “Romeo & Juliet”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “The Nutcracker” and “The Firebird”, she starred in.
• Copeland was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 10, 1982. She grew up in a large family of seven siblings due to her mother’s multiple marriages.
