Subodh Kant Sahay is an Indian politician who represented the Ranchi constituency in Jharkhand and served as a Member of Parliament three times. As a member of the Indian National Congress, he has held important positions including Cabinet Minister for Tourism until 28 October 2012.

Subodh Kant Sahay was born on Monday, 11 June 1951 (age 72 years; as in 2023) in Latehar, Bihar, India. His zodiac sign is Gemini. In July 1978, Subodh Kant Sahay was appointed as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, and he served in the post until October 1989. Meanwhile, he was also nominated as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts, Chairman of the Committee, for four years. In the 14th Lok Sabha, he served as a Member of Parliament and was appointed as the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries in the first Manmohan Singh Cabinet from 2004 to 2009. Then in 2009, he was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha. As a Member of Parliament from Ranchi constituency.
Subodh Kant Sahay served as the Union Minister of Tourism from 2011 to October 2012.

In 2022, at a Congress event in Delhi, Subodh Kant Sahay compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Hitler and claimed that Modi has gone ahead of Hitler’s actions and created a similar organization called ‘Khaki’. Sahay warned Modi to remember this caution and said that if he followed Hitler’s path, he too would meet the same fate.
