With Jason Oppenheim being one of the most important cast members on Selling Sunset, fans certainly want to learn more about his life outside of the reality series. When reality TV viewers met Jason on Selling Sunset season 1, he was a 41-year-old real estate broker who was already running the Oppenheim Group alongside his twin brother Brett. A significant part of his storyline on the show also involved his past romantic relationship with co-star Mary Fitzgerald.
On the other hand, it was quickly made clear that Jason and Mary were great friends and co-workers. Despite the fact that Mary was already in a relationship with now-husband Romain Bonnet, there was absolutely no bad blood, jealousy, or drama between them and Jason. As the seasons went on, Jason was portrayed as a very tough but very fair boss. During summer 2021, Jason and Chrishell Stause announced that they had started to date. However, Jason and Chrishell broke up just a few months later in December 2021.

As it turns out, Jason is currently 44 years of age. His birthday is April 12, so he will be turning 45 in the spring of 2022. Jason was born in Palo Alto, CA, so he’s been a native Californian from birth. Per LinkedIn, Jason worked as a broker for many years in his career. He then founded the Oppenheim Group in December 2013, which means that the company is officially 8 years old.
There’s no denying that Jason is one of the most popular stars of Selling Sunset. His twin brother, Brett, keeps a lower profile on and off the show, but Jason has no problem being a reality TV star. When it comes to his love life, Jason’s most well-known ex-girlfriends are Mary and Chrishell from Selling Sunset, but he’s had other exes that are simply not as famous as his Netflix co-stars. Season 4 finished up teasing Jason and Chrishell’s new relationship as the main storyline for season 5. So now that they’ve broken up, it will be interesting to see how it will all play out in the upcoming season.
There’s still no release date for Selling Sunset season 5, but it seems like it’ll come out sooner rather than later.
