Golfers Nick Dunlap and Scott Dunlap are not related. Nick may be seen as Scott’s son, but the seasoned golfer has no children and is not married. The PGA Tour website contacted Charlene and Jim during the final round of The American Express. Jim and Charlene said their child was a motivated and dedicated child from birth. Jim stated that he saw that his son had the ability to be a professional golfer when he shot a 59 to win a local tournament at the age of 12. Charlene gets upset at the end of the conversation as she talks about how hard her son has fought to get to where he is now.

Scott Dunlap, an American professional golfer, is 60 years old and single. He gave the information during an interview with the Richmond Times-Dispatch in 2016. Dunlap, then 53, talked about his golf career and where it took him. It took him 11 years to get his PGA card to play. In his 1995 interview, Dunlap said he had played on every continent except Antarctica and Australia. He was the head professional at the South African club when Nelson Mandela was released from prison.
