Sara Bareilles and Brian d’Arcy James were both Tony nominees this year and reunited with co-star Kennedy Kanagawa for a live performance!
The three stars did their rendition of “It Takes Two” at the Tony Awards 2023 on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theater in Washington Heights in New York City.
In the woods it was one of the first shows to open during the 2022-23 Broadway season and sadly the limited run ended months ago, but fans across the country can currently catch the production on tour. It’s going to be at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles soon!
The musical was nominated for six awards tonight, including Best Revival of a Musical and acting nominations for both Sara and Brian. Unfortunately, the production went home empty-handed.
