Most recently, Ryan accepted a role in the 2024 action film, The scapegoat. In the movie, which came out today, she played a stunt double who essentially required being set on fire. However, her girls didn’t like the idea.

“Although I said, ‘Well, actually, technically it’s the safest because there are a lot of protective things involved,'” [they] They said, ‘No.’ No fire.’ So I didn’t,” she said.

As a result, it’s unlikely we’ll see Ryan in any “dark” roles, at least in the short term. Maybe when his daughters are older, he will change his mind. But for now, he’s content with lighter, sillier roles.
