Taylor Lautner became a household name playing Jacob in the Twilight franchise, but had to fight for the role twice. Both times she also went up against some talented actors!
In case you forgot, the 31-year-old actor played the young werewolf alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in 2008. Twilight.
However, there were concerns that he would not be able to bring the character to life in the 2009 sequel. New Moon as Jacob went through a massive body transformation and gained a significant amount of muscle and height after becoming a werewolf.
As a result, Taylor had to hit the gym and go through her own body transformation to keep the role. He reflected on almost recasting him in a recent interview, and credited Kristen for helping him stay in the franchise.
