Remi Warren embarks on a new adventure knowing that he has the full support of his wife. The skilled and skilled hunter is no longer a part of the MeatEater franchise, having parted ways with the show after ten seasons. Fans of him can still find a lot of his content on social media, and there’s a good chance he’ll get another TV spot.
“Teamwork makes the dream work,” Remi captioned his fourth wedding anniversary post in early April 2022. He uploaded a photo of him and his wife, Danielle Warren, fist-bumping during one of their countless flings. . .
Remi and Danielle got married in April 2018 in New Zealand.
Remi and Danielle exchanged wedding vows in April 2018, surrounded by family and close friends in New Zealand. The stone church chosen by the couple stood near a lake surrounded by a bare mountainous landscape.
In his announcement post, Remi compared his wife to the picturesque location where their nuptials took place. “Her soul of hers matches the landscape – open, wild and beautiful,” Warren wrote alongside the wedding photos. He continued:
“This lake has been a jumping off point for me over the years for some of my favorite adventures. It is very appropriate that this new adventure begins here as well. In this small space we exchange our vows surrounded by our family and close friends.”
Remi admitted to being overwhelmed by the occasion. “I have always said that there are only two things in this world that will make a real man cry: God and a woman. They both moved me today,” Remi wrote.
He concluded his post by praising Danielle: “My wife is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her character is unwavering, her smile is contagious and her spirit of adventure is unrivaled, and I am excited to spend the rest of my life with her.”
Remi described their first year of marriage as one of the best years of his life; he referred to it as her greatest adventure. She painted Danielle as a selfless and supportive partner:
“Someone who constantly inspires me to go above and beyond, who runs barefoot, is willing to climb any mountain, is incredibly humble and constantly puts the needs of others before her own. She is amazing in every way and I respect her for the many things she has brought to my life.”
Danielle and Remi welcomed daughter Wren Lucy Warren in June 2021
Remi and Danielle found out they were pregnant while on a hunting trip in Montana. Warren wrote on Instagram that Danielle wanted a natural birth and went to great lengths to prepare.
“She spent time preparing and did what she set out to do,” Remi wrote. “I am so humbled by this force. It was an incredible experience.”
The couple welcomed Wren Lucy Warren in late June 2021. “My wife Danielle and I are so excited and blessed for her,” Remi wrote.
Remi came up with a helpful hunter analogy to describe the moment: “To put it in hunter terms, the feeling I get when I look at my daughter is like constantly walking on a 200-inch deer!”
Remi rescued Danielle after she was lost for three days in the Nevada desert.
During an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Remi described Danielle’s disappearance and rescue after she got lost in the Nevada desert. Probably due to her personal nature, Remi characterized the story as something she should have kept a secret, but she spoke about the experience anyway.
“That was probably one of the worst outdoor experiences that turned out to be a good one,” he said. Remi and Danielle had taken a break from their relationship when she disappeared for three days.
He reacted to the news by driving to Nevada with his brother and a close friend to help the search and rescue team. Rem explained:
“She was missing, this would be happening on her third day. They had Black Hawk helicopters looking for her and couldn’t find her. Search and rescue, they did the dog thing. All.”
The rescue team believed that Danielle had been kidnapped as locals reported seeing a car with Mexican license plates in the area at the time of her disappearance. He said he couldn’t bear the thought of Danielle being kidnapped or killed. He continued:
“In fact, they thought that because they had made a search effort, she was gone, as if she had been taken away. So that kind of shit on your mind. They were searching in the middle of the day, so I thought it would be better to search at night.”
Remi continued searching and stumbled upon tracks that looked different from typical deer tracks. She followed them to a bank, called Danielle, and received a weak answer. “I turned on my light and she’s like 300 feet below me,” she said.
Due to severe dehydration, Danielle suffered from confusion and memory loss. She had gone for a walk to sweat out an illness she had and she lost too much water, which prevented her from returning home.
“We got to the paramedics and then obviously to the hospital and like a pretty extensive rehydration process,” Warren said. Remi joked that the ransom is useful during the couple’s arguments. “Do you remember that time I saved your life?” Remi teased.
