There were only supposed to be 24 contestants who would go to the next round of american idolbut we have a Top 26 instead!
The judges couldn’t narrow the group down to just 24 contestants, so we have two additional singers advancing to the Hawaii round. Shockingly, the judges eliminated two of the contestants who received platinum tickets during this year’s auditions.
The top 26 contestants will perform at Disney’s Aulani Resort and 20 people will advance to the live shows in Los Angeles.
