Janasena Party
Ramchandra Yadav started his career as a politician by joining the Janasena Party. In 2019, he contested the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections from Punganur Constituency on a ticket of the Janasena Party.
However, he lost the elections and stood third after Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and N Anesha Reddy. Subsequently, he quit the Janasena Party and began the preparations to establish a new party in Andhra Pradesh.
Bharata Chaitanya Yuvajana Party (BCYP)
On 23 July 2023, Ramchandra launched the Bharata Chaitanya Yuvajana Party (BCYP) during a highly attended public gathering called ‘Praja Simha Garjana.’ The event took place in front of Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur district.
A surge of eager citizens from every corner of the state gathered at the momentous event, underscoring the burgeoning appeal and widespread influence of the newly established party. Distinguished attendees included Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s grandson, Prakash Ambedkar, and Suraj Mandal, the grandson of B. P. Mandal, who served as the chairman of the Mandal Commission. While addressing the gathering, Ramachandra Yadav articulated the primary goal of his party – to emancipate the people of Andhra Pradesh from the grip of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), TDP, and the Indian National Congress (INC). In a vehement critique, he accused the YSRCP and TDP of abandoning the Backward Classes (BCs), Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and minorities in the equitable distribution of welfare schemes. He said,
As the people are unable to break free from the shackles of these family parties, I am setting up the BCYP to bring about the much-needed change in AP politics with real socio-economic empowerment of the BCs, SCs, STs and minorities as its underlying objective”
He further added,

During the meeting, he lodged a formal complaint against Ramachandra Reddy, holding him accountable for the attack on his house. Additionally, Yadav claimed that the Minister was obstructing his efforts to organize job melas. As a result, the Union Home Ministry decided to grant ‘Y+’ security cover to Ramachandra Yadav.
