Aayushmaan Srivastava is an Indian sitar player who is known for being the son of famous comedian Raju Srivastava, who died of cardiac arrest on 21 September 2022.

Aayushmaan Srivastava was born in Mumbai. He attended Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. He pursued the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from 2011 to 2013 at Oberoi International School, Mumbai. In 2013, he started pursuing AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A (Advanced) international studies at Podar International School, Mumbai. In 2015 he pursued a bachelor’s degree in science at the London School of Economics and Political Science, London.

Aayushmaan’s father, Raju Srivastava, was a comedian. His mother, Shikha Srivastava, is a homemaker. He has one sister, Antara Srivastava, who is a film director.

His father died on 21 September 2022 after undergoing treatment for 41 days at New Delhi’s AIIMS, where he was admitted in August 2022 after he collapsed while working out in a gym in Delhi.
Career
Aayushmaan made his acting debut in 2021 with the short film Speed Dial in which he played a minor role as a sitar player.

In 2019, he promoted a campaign started by Kailash Kher in which he played the sitar in the commercial. In 2019, he got to play the sitar with Baba Pt. Kartick Kumar on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

In 2020, he appeared in the Amazon Prime series ‘The Forgotten army.’
