News about Ralph Blumenthal

For Americans interested in extraterrestrial life, the past six years have been unfortunate. Former Senator Harry Reid once stole $22 million from the defense budget to investigate unknown objects, the New York Times reported in 2017.

Since then, several Navy pilots have come forward to report frequent UFO sightings, and the Pentagon has revised its investigative procedures in an effort to take the situation more seriously. Many of the objects that the pilots thought were real objects turned out to be, despite further investigation, to be nothing more than balloons.

Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal, members of the team that published the Times article in 2017, have published a new report that offers hope to those who believe in extraterrestrial life.

The two discuss the case of a Defense Department intelligence whistleblower who claims the intelligence community is withholding sensitive information about “an intact and partially intact aircraft of no human origin.” The topic is discussed on the scientific website Debrief.

According to whistleblower David Charles Grusch’s complaint, the Pentagon, other countries and defense contractors have discovered debris of “exotic origin (non-human intelligence, extraterrestrial origin, or unknown origin) based on vehicle morphology and materials science testing, as well as with unique atomic arrangements and radioactive signatures.” In addition, according to Grusch, “the material consists of intact and partially intact media.”

While the former government UFO expert may have been exposed, Grusch has credentials that earn him respect. Grusch, a 36-year-old Afghanistan veteran, was with the Office of Naval Intelligence’s Unknown Aerial Phenomena Task Force, which was responsible for investigating UFO reports.

He represented the Office of National Reconnaissance, considered one of the top five US intelligence organizations, on the task force from 2019 to 2021. He was also highly regarded by his colleagues. At the UFO Task Force, as well as retired Army colonel Karl Nell, said Grusch was “unrepentant.”
