Early life and childhood

The next day, after people on the highway reported seeing a man running into traffic on Interstate 10, Tucson Police Chief Peter Ronstadt arrested Bardo. He quickly admitted to the murder. In a bench trial, Bardo was found guilty of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of release.
