Raju Tolani graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Bridge is a team card game. While talking about the bridge game in an interview, he said,
In the 1970s and 1980s, bridge was a part of the culture at the IITs and IIMs. There was no rat race going on and people would find time to play games of intellectual value. You can enjoy the glory of a wise gambler.
