Before becoming famous as a political analyst, Pushpendra Kulshrestha was the executive editor and India anchor of Pakistan News AAJ in Karachi. His journalism career has included working with some of the top news outlets including Zee News, Sahara News and BBC World.
He was the general secretary of the Press Club of India three times. In 2009, the Pres Club convened a special general meeting to dissolve the current management, chaired by Pushpendra, for financial irregularities totaling nearly one crore rupees.
Using information from sacred texts such as the Geeta and the Koran, he embarked on a journey to free Jammu and Kashmir from the shackles that allegedly hindered its development and progress.
