While in high school he participated in various extracurricular activities. He was interested in music, but due to the pressure of studies, he focused on his education and continued his studies in the field of health sciences. Instead of giving up his passion for music, he continued it as a hobby. In 2017, he took admission in a university for his further studies, but in 2018, he was diagnosed with clinical depression and it took him almost a year to fully recover from it. Talking about this in an interview he said,

It was so bad that I couldn’t tell whether it was day or night outside, or what date it was, or sometimes even what month it was… I was very lucky that I didn’t have to take any anti-depressants or any other pills. ”

When he was going through this situation, he realized how people deal with it and how they suffer from the side effects of antidepressant or mood stabilizer pills. Later, Pulkit and one of his friends, Dhaniket, discovered a potential/add-on antidepressant for cancer, which was available at a very low cost and had no side effects, even if the patient took it for 7-10 years. She started an organization focused on spreading awareness about cancer called ‘The UofA Cancer Society’ in early 2020. The organization encourages new ideas that may be helpful in treating cancer. Pulkit had published a research paper on a possible cure for cancer in October 2020 in which he proposed all the key components needed to cure cancer, but due to lack of research he could not substantiate his claims. When asked in an interview why he did not do anything about COVID in 2020, he replied,

IIT Delhi had published something similar before me too, so there was no point in copying them.

Although he couldn’t do much about COVID-19, his group raised a whopping $50,000, which was donated to cancer research and frontline workers in 2020.
