Prisha Lokesh Nikju was born on Thursday, 9 November 2017 (age 5 years; as of 2022) in Palava Phase 2, Dombivali, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. She originally comes from Prabhat Pattan, which is located in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. His father came to Mumbai and started living there with his family.

Prisha started trekking at the age of two. His interest in trekking grew when his father also shared his passion for it. In an interview, his father mentioned that they go trekking together every weekend. Being a former trainee of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Lokesh has the knowledge and skills to guide Prisha during the trek. He has trekked to many places including Sinhagad, Lohagad, Visapur, Karnala, Sondai, Kothaligarh, Prabalmachi, Kalawantin and Raigad. He also climbed Kalsubai peak at the age of three. On 31 October 2021, he achieved a remarkable feat by setting a record by scaling Maharashtra’s highest peak Kalsubai in 3 hours and 16 minutes at the age of 3 years, 11 months and 22 days. The feat was shared by her father on The Better India’s social media page, where he wrote that ‘To the best of our knowledge, she may be the youngest girl to climb the Kalsubai peak.’
Along with the announcement, a picture was also shared in which Prisha was holding a blue placard with a powerful message to give every girl a good start and encourage them to reach the top.
On June 20, 2023, she created a record by becoming the youngest climber to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. He achieved this feat at the age of 5 years, 11 months and 22 days. Over the course of 12 days, she successfully reached a height of 17,598 feet or 5,364 metres. In an interview his father talked about his trek and said,
Prisha landed at Lukla (Nepal) and started the trek with them on May 24 and reached Everest Base Camp proudly holding the Indian flag on June 1, 2023 and later returned to Lukla (Nepal) on June 4, 2023. An extremely difficult and high altitude journey where many trekkers experience breathing difficulties, headaches and acute mountain sickness, but Prisha managed the difficulties well.
