Prince Harry has received an apology from Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) for using illegal methods to collect information about his private life.
The 38-year-old Duke of Sussex is one of four plaintiffs chosen from a larger group of high-profile figures suing the publisher over alleged illegal information gathering (UIG).
The British publisher of the Daily Mirror has apologized for a case of using illegal methods to spy on Prince Harry, but denied its other claims on Wednesday.

“It was an avalanche of illegality,” Prince Harry’s lawyer David Sherborne said, according to the AP. “But even worse, this flood was being approved by senior executives, managing editors, and board members.”
Sherborne said former publisher Piers Morgan was aware of the illegal hacking, which he has denied.
Mirror Group Newspapers “is now part of a very different company. We are committed to acting with integrity and our goal in this trial is to enable both the company and our journalists to move past events that took place many years ago,” the statement read.
“MGN apologizes unreservedly for all of these UIG cases and assures the plaintiffs that such conduct will never be repeated,” the group said according to court documents.
A new report has emerged about Prince Harry’s calendar after attending his father King Charles’ coronation ceremony.
