Prince Dawood (1975–2023) was a British-Pakistani multi-millionaire businessman, investor and philanthropist. He served as Vice Chairman of Engro Corporation, Director of Dawood Hercules Corporation, Board Member of the Prince Charles Charity, Board Member of the SETI Institute, and Trustee of The Dawood Foundation. She made headlines in the 2023 Titan submersible incident, a tourist expedition in which a Titan submersible carrying five passengers, including the crown prince and his son Suleiman, disappeared in the North Atlantic Ocean while on its way to view the wreck of the Titanic. 18 June 2023. All five passengers were confirmed dead after a debris field was found on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean on 22 June 2023.

The organization was established to support and promote educational initiatives in the field of science, technology and research in Pakistan. Death
On June 18, 2023, the Titan submarine operated by Oceangate Expeditions went missing in the North Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.
Five people were aboard the submersible, Prince David, his 19-year-old son Suleiman, Hamish Harding, Paul-Henri Nargiolet and Stockton Rush. Titan was designed to show passengers a close-up of the Titanic wreck, but contact with the ship was lost less than two hours into the journey. The popular British passenger ship Titanic sank in the North Atlantic after colliding with an iceberg on April 15, 1912. Passengers paid $250,000 for the trip, which went to a depth of about 13,123 feet in the ocean. The ship’s breathable air supply was expected to be exhausted by the morning of 22 June 2023. The same day, the deaths of the passengers were confirmed after a debris field was found on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, a few hundred meters from the wreck. Of Titanic.
