Pressure Cooker, the ultimate cooking competition series, will premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2023 at 3:01 a.m. ET. The long-awaited series will be a combination of a food show and a family reality show. Some of the top chefs will fight for the ultimate title, just like they fought for Top Chef and Master Chef. However, Presscooker made its own twist by letting the 11 contestants live together, just like Big Brother. Surprisingly, Netflix claims it is the first show of its kind.

In the Netflix pressure cooker, chefs will not only communicate, but coexist.
Here’s a rundown of the upcoming show:
“In this first-ever home cooking competition, 11 seasoned chefs must demonstrate that they possess all the qualities needed to thrive in the real culinary industry. For weeks, our group of confident chefs will be locked together in a fortress of food, cooking, sleeping, and co-existing alongside their rivals.”
It continued:
“As if that wasn’t enough pressure, they’re going to need a plan to strike a balance between impressing colleagues and spying on themselves…because there’s no jury in the pressure cooker. Chefs judge each other. This is a high-stakes competition to find the ideal chef.”
To win the title of “Supreme Chef”, the candidates will live and cook together for several weeks. They will have to find a balance between earning the respect and admiration of their peers and devising a winning strategy to keep them in the game. The chefs will judge each other in this eight-episode arrangement. So they decide if they want to keep picking people based on their culinary abilities or let them go because they’re too great to compete.
“Since you won’t be judged by a panel of celebrity chefs, impressing your co-workers will be crucial to your success or failure in this house. You will be judged against each other.”
When the participants heard this, they immediately expressed concern about what might happen next. A competitor mentioned:
“This isn’t just about the food; The sooner we realize that, the sooner we can start playing the game.”
The winner of the program will be the one who balances between preparing beautiful dishes and creating relationships. Pressure cookers are manufactured by Mission Control Media, a company that specializes in the production of reality competition series. The film is executive produced by veteran producers David Friedman, Dwight Smith and Michael Agbabian.
The candidates were amazed from the very first viewing when they learned the actual format of the show. Instead of a regular conductor, a ticket machine notifies them of their work and other information related to the show. Players rate each other’s meals each week and choose one to be eliminated from the tournament. The audience will get to meet the participants in a pressure cooker, and according to some sources, the contestant will be chef Robbie Jester.
