Amazon Freevee’s Play-Doh Squished is a new reality TV competition that will air in less than a week. Amazon’s new ad-supported streaming service is called Freevee. Play-Doh Squished will be released on November 11, 2022. Therefore, new episodes will be released every Friday. Sarah Hyland of Modern Family will host a series of family competitions. The entire show revolves around a number of play-doh missions that the teams must complete each week.
As a Christmas special, the series aired an episode last December. Then, two competing teams must build the entire Winter Wonderland using Play-Doh. The official synopsis of Play-Doh Squished Season 1 is as follows:
“In the ultimate holiday competition, three teams of fun-loving adults and kids compete against each other.” Teams took part in two physical missions, culminating in a sculpting competition where they had to create dramatic winter wonderlands from the game -Doh! In the end, only one team will win the grand prize, while other teams’ inventions will be Defeat! Sarah Hyland is the host of the show.

Sarah Hyland is best known for her role as Haley Dunphy in the hit comedy series Modern Family. Along with hosting the next Amazon Freevee show, she was also announced as the host of Love Island USA earlier this July. Sarah isn’t just the host of Play-Doh Squished. She is one of the contest’s executive producers, as well as a judge. Sarah has just married her longtime friend, Wells Adams. In August this year, the couple got married.
Who are the other judges who will join the show besides Sara?
Sara will join the same guest judge each week on the show. Julie Bowen, who plays Sara’s mother in Modern Family, will be one of the judges. Wells Adams, Sarah’s husband, will also appear as a judge in one of the episodes.
In addition to them, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, D’Arcy Carden, ‘Young Dylan’ Gilmer, Tony Hale, Chloe Kim, Marshawn Lynch, Alyssa Milano, Madison Pettis, Jay Pharoah, Jaime Pressly, Francia Raisa, Rob Riggle and Kristen Schaal will appear in the story. Besides the celebrity judges, Sarah will be accompanied by Play-Doh expert Jason Loik. Other judges at the show will include painter Alexandra Nechita and sculptor Gil Grimmett.
What can fans expect from Amazon Freevee Season 1?
Play-Doh Squished will feature three teams of kids and adults competing in a variety of missions designed to test their dexterity, creativity, and speed. They will be tasked with building a fantastic universe out of Play-Doh in each episode. In addition, there will be polygons with obstacles that children must participate in. At the end of each episode, one team will be crowned the Play-Doh Champion, while the other team will be “wiped out”.
