Peter Orszag Biography
Although Peter Orszag grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts, he was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the son of Steven and Reba Orszag. His paternal grandparents, who were Jewish and originally from Hungary, moved to New York in 1903. His mother was the president and owner of a research and development company, while his father was a professor of mathematics at Yale University. Jonathan Orszag is the name of his other sibling.
He graduated with high honors from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1987. In 1991, he graduated with honors in Latin from Princeton University.
