Pierson is the author or co-author of numerous books, including “Dismantling the Welfare State?: Reagan, Thatcher and the Politics of Retrenchment,” “The New Politics of the Welfare State,” and “Winner-Take-All Politics: How Washington Made The rich got richer and he turned his back on the middle class.
In addition, he was a resident of the American Political Science Association Section of Politics and History from 2003 to 2004.
