Ja Morant is listed as one of the best young talents in the NBA right now. His talent and ability as a player was noticed from a very young age. His father, a former professional basketball player, helped foster Morant’s talent, and he soon won individual and team awards.

During his sophomore year with Murray State, Ja became the first player to average at least 20 points and 10 assists per game in NCAA history. Morant denied dating Abigail Russo after breaking up with KK Dixon
Morant and his ex KK kept their breakup low-key. Fans found out about the split after it was reported that Dixon and Morant stopped following each other on Instagram.
Ja was later rumored to be dating the mother of Andre Drummond’s baby, Abigail Russo, due to the couple’s interactions on Instagram. Morant took to Instagram to deny the rumors. She wrote on her stories: “All of you mfs love my name mate. I’m relaxing single and great with women.”
KK Dixon gave birth to the couple’s son two months ahead of schedule
It’s unclear how long Morant and Dixon have been dating, but Dixon posted her first photo of the couple on Instagram in late 2018. There is limited information on how long they had been dating before that first photo.
Dixon gave birth to the couple’s first child on August 7, 2019. However, Kaari was born two months early and therefore had to stay in hospital for a few weeks before going home. Dixon posted a baby photo of her on September 7, 2019 along with her caption;
“On August 7, 2019 I became a mom. It arrived 2 months earlier than expected, but I am very grateful to God for taking care of us and for the support of everyone in our corner. I would not have traded this process for anything. She is so perfect and thanks to everyone who has been praying for us. Just a few more weeks in the NICU, then the girl will be home. Happy 1 month to our little soldier.”
Morant also posted a photo of Kaari on his Instagram page. She added the caption; “…dad can’t wait for you to come home & @kkdixonn I don’t think I can thank you enough. I am lucky to have all of them in my life. They all push me to go even harder. I love you all.”
Ja’s former KK Dixon plays basketball and volleyball
Kadre Dixon is from Antoine, Arkansas, and is the middle child of DeShannon and Christal Dixon. His older brother, Tyrik, is a basketball player for the Missouri State Bears. Kadre currently attends Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dixon’s prowess on the court pales in comparison to what her boyfriend can do, but she’s a proven volleyball and basketball player.
