Paris Hilton feels “hurt” after “cruel and hateful” comments about her son’s head
On October 19, Paris Hilton, 42, shared photos of her 8-month-old son, Phoenix Barron, on Instagram. Unfortunately, this led to several trolls leaving completely unnecessary comments that upset the author and the fashion designer.
Hilton took to Instagram to express her anger, declaring how “unacceptable” it is that her followers are “targeting” her son, whom she shares with Carter Reum.
After the sweet post about her son’s first trip to New York City turned sour, Hilton couldn’t believe the negative comments people kept leaving about the size of her son’s head.
A TikTok user called attention to the unfavorable comments generated by the post, prompting Hilton to respond that her “angel is perfectly healthy” and “just has a big brain.”
In another Instagram post, Hilton explained her outrage over the comments about her son’s head.
“Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my son, or anyone else, is unacceptable,” the “Jealousy” singer said.
She went on to write that the public response hurt her “deeply.”
“This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. “I have worked hard to cultivate an environment based on love, respect and acceptance, and I expect the same in return,” Hilton wrote.
She also mentioned that being a mother as an influencer has exposed her to extreme criticism.
“If I don’t post my baby, people assume I’m not a great mother and if I post it, there are some people who are cruel and hateful. I am a proud working mother and my baby is perfectly healthy and she is adorable. and angelic,” wrote the new mother.
Hilton adds that her son has become the “biggest blessing” in her life.
“I’ve dreamed of being a mother for as long as I can remember,” Hilton explained. “Every day with him is a reminder of what really matters.
“It is difficult to imagine that there are people in the world who aim for such innocence. “I hope people can treat each other with more kindness and empathy.”
Hilton and Reum, who married in 2021, remained silent about the birth of Phoenix that occurred on January 16 via a surrogate.

They announced his birth eight days later on Instagram with a touching photo of Hilton holding his hand.
“You are already loved beyond words 💙,” he said. Paris in love the star wrote.
Hilton told him PEOPLE in an interview that she and Reum have a lot of help raising Phoenix. Kathy Hilton and Rick Hilton, the parents of the American personality, have been very involved in Phoenix’s life since her birth.
“[My parents] “We are so obsessed with him,” Hilton said. “I always call my mom and my sister [Nicky Hilton] “I ask myself for advice and I’m very lucky to be so close to my family and have such a great support group.”
Some people can be so cruel. Fortunately, many fans came to Hilton’s defense:
“I don’t usually comment on these types of posts, but why would anyone criticize, shame or make fun of a child? That says a lot about our society. 😢”, wrote one user.
“I am not a fan or follower of his. I just want to say your son is adorable! I don’t know what makes people so cruel. The ugliness in his heart affects his vision, obviously. Enjoy these moments with your baby, it goes by very quickly,” someone else commented.
However, there are some users who are somewhat indifferent to rude comments.
“Imagine bullying people for being poor and then this, well…” one user replied.
Still, children should never be the target. We hope Paris can recover from this.
