The game follows Matthew as he tries to escape from a rundown motel after he is attacked upon arrival. With multiple endings, challenging puzzles, and collectibles, help Matt uncover the truth behind the sinister inn he finds himself trapped in.

At first glance, it seems that the next escape attempt will be easier after learning a bit about the motel and its puzzles. However, every time Matt wakes up in the tub, the motel changes. Items are in different places, different enemies appear, and healing items, such as ice, are gradually becoming limited. Additionally, the Doctor only gives Matt a few more attempts to escape the motel before the worst ending is unlocked and the game resets completely. The core puzzles are the same for each room, but the overall inn difference requires alternative methods to solve later in the game, so this keeps the game interesting.
