Everything You Need To Know About San Diego Comic-Con’s 2023 Panels (Including The Cancelled Ones)

While Hollywood faces an uncertain future of fair treatment for its creatives, San Diego Comic-Con’s 2023 line-up is forging on ahead, albeit in a much more reduced capacity. Typically one of the industry’s biggest events for major announcements from such juggernauts as Marvel Studios, DC Studios and Lucasfilm, this year has seen a number of studios have to pull out from the event due to the Writer’s Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Marvel was the first to confirm they’d be skipping SDCC 2023, with Netflix, Disney, HBO, Sony and Universal all following suit.

Even with these roadblocks, San Diego Comic-Con 2023 will still have a number of exciting panels running from July 20-23. Screen Rant will not only be in attendance of many of these panels, but will also be hosting a special media room interviewing many of the creatives from the projects being shown at the event, as well as moderating panels! Check out the full schedule of panels still moving ahead, as well as those that are confirmed to be cancelled due to the actors and writers strikes, below:

Note: Any actor or writer involvement in the panels and events listed below are subject to change for the WGA & SAG-AFTRA strikes, during which this piece was written. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, the shows and movies being covered here wouldn’t exist.
