Nithya Menen is an Indian actress, playback singer and a dubbing artiste. She is best known for playing the role of ‘Tara’ in the Tamil film “O Kadhal Kanmani” (2015). Nithya is the recipient of three Filmfare Awards (South).

Nithya Menen was born on Friday, 8 April 1988 (age 35 years; as in 2023) in Banashankari, Bangalore. His zodiac sign is Aries.
Nitya attended Manipal Institute of Communication in Manipal and Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru to study journalism. Nitya actively participated in co-curricular activities during her school days. She was good at dancing and singing from a young age. When she was 10 years old, Menon got a role in the English-language film, “The Monkey Who Knew Too Much” (1998).
Nitya always wanted to become a journalist. However, while studying journalism, Menon found it uninteresting and decided to study film production. After this, she went to the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune to pursue a course in cinematography. When Menon appeared for the entrance examination for the course, she met film director BV Nandini Reddy, who convinced her to pursue acting.
