In the same year, he represented the Goa Kabaddi team in the 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship held in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

Pro Kabbadi League

In 2017, Nitish Kumar was selected by Lucknow-based team ‘UP Yoddha’ under the New Young Players (NYP) category and made his Pro Kabaddi League debut in Season 5 as a defender.
