Treat Williams died tragically at the age of 71.

“They killed him this afternoon. He was turning left or right. [and] a car slammed into it,” said Officer Barry McPherson. “I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was very talented.”
The agent added: “He was an actor’s actor. The filmmakers loved him. He has been the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s. He was really proud of his performance this year. He is very happy with the job I got him. He has had a balanced career.”
Treat rose to fame with his role as George Berger in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical. Hair in 1979. His other film credits included prince of the city, Once upon a Time in Americato, and 127 hours.
From 2002 to 2006, Treat played Andrew “Andy” Brown on the WB series. everwood alongside Emily VanCamp and Chris Pratt, among other rising stars at the time.
Treat joined some cast members for an epic reunion several years ago.
