Nicki Aycox, actress and singer passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 47. Susan Raab Ceklosky, her sister-in-law, announced the news on social media, writing:
“Nicki Aycox Raab, my beautiful, intelligent, strong, very talented and beloved sister-in-law, passed away yesterday with my brother Matt Raab by his side. In California, Nicki and Matt enjoy a quiet life together. She is a warrior and is loved by all who know her.”
Aycox died after a long battle with leukemia. She was diagnosed with cancer a year ago and said she started treatment in March 2021. In January and February 2021 she was very unwell and then she said:
“In January and February, I felt extremely bad when I believed that I had covid. It all worked out in the end. I was hospitalized after being diagnosed with Lukemia (sic).”
She also revealed that she is battling acute myeloid leukemia, announcing in March that she is being treated for the disease again. Actress known for her roles in films such as Jeepers Creepers 2, Perfect Stranger and The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

Nicki Aycox became famous for her roles in many TV series and movies.
Nicki Aycox, born May 26, 1975, sang in beauty contests and played the piano in her youth. She has appeared in television shows such as 3rd Rock from the Sun, USA High, Boy Meets World, The X-Files and Providence. In the 2003 horror film Jeepers Creepers 2, she played a spiritual cheerleader. The film received lousy reviews, but earned between $63.1 million and $120 million at the box office.
From July to October 2005, Aycox played soldier Brenda “Mrs. B” Mitchell in the action war drama Ondje. The show ran for a season with 13 episodes before being canceled due to low ratings. In 2006, she appeared as psychopathic serial killer Amber Canardo in an episode of the crime drama series Criminal Minds.
In the first season of the hit dark fantasy television series Supernatural, Nicki Aycox played Meg Masters. Kim Manners, executive producer, said of the casting:
“When you bring in a woman with a strong image, I believe a bit of sexiness goes into the role. I myself contributed a lot, although it was also in the script.”
Grace Clayton in the 2007 psychological thriller Perfect Stranger and Cheryl Cunningham in the 2008 supernatural thriller The X-Files: I Want to Believe both play the actor. She then played Melissa Scott in the 2008 horror film Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead. In 2009, Aycox played Jaimie Allen in the crime drama series Dark Blue. Red Velvet Room, her debut EP, was released in 2015.
