Mexican actors Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal will join as executive producers and are both considering taking on acting roles in the new offshoot. If they do take on roles, it appears they won’t be important roles.
Blue beetle Writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer serves as creator, writer and executive producer, as well as co-showrunner, and a search is underway for another co-showrunner.
